Checklist

Every standard clean includes all of the tasks below. No tiers, no hidden extras — just a thorough, consistent clean every visit.

  • Wipe drawers and cupboards — outside
  • Wipe and scrub all benchtops / surface areas
  • Microwave — inside and outside
  • Dishwasher — outside
  • Fridge — outside
  • Oven glass — outside
  • Stove and range hood — outside
  • Scrub sink, plugs and taps
  • Dust surfaces and windowsills
  • Wipe and organise items and kitchen appliances
  • Wash dishes / place dishes in the dishwasher
  • Empty and wipe bins
  • Scrub sink / basin
  • Scrub bath
  • Scrub shower — tiles and grout
  • Polish taps, metal fittings and soap holders
  • Toilet — inside and outside
  • Wipe tiles around the toilet if dirty
  • Remove mould if present
  • Wipe surface areas
  • Polish mirrors
  • Towel rails — fold and hang towels neatly
  • Washing machine and dryer — outside
  • Dust and wipe surfaces after
  • Wipe and organise items including towels
  • Empty and wipe bins
  • Make beds
  • Organise cushions and covers on sofas
  • Dust and wipe all surface areas (side tables etc)
  • Mirrors — wipe fingerprints and marks
  • Tidy easily accessible items
  • Wipe tables (coffee tables, side tables and dining tables)
  • Empty and wipe bins
  • Vacuum and mop all floors — use vacuum pipe for less accessible places
  • Wipe light switches and power points (where dirty)
  • Wipe windowsills
  • Dust and wipe skirting boards if time allows (on a rotation basis)

Extra Tasks for Spare Time

Our priority is always to complete the standard cleaning checklist first. If the booked hours allow and the main tasks are completed earlier, our cleaners may use the remaining time for small extra tasks:

  • Make beds (change bedsheets only if required)
  • Clean some glass doors or easily accessible windows inside (spot cleaning only)
  • Wipe skirting boards
  • Spot clean the glass balustrade on the stairs to remove fingerprints and visible marks (if applicable)
  • Additional tidy up — review everything to ensure nothing was missed, double check light switches, clean door handles

These extra tasks are not guaranteed and depend on the condition of the home, access, time available, and cleaner discretion on the day.

Please Note

  • Cleaning is limited to external surfaces reachable from ground level, and covers general maintenance cleaning only.
  • The following are not included:windows, oven interiors, blinds, exhaust fans, interiors of cupboards/drawers/wardrobes, fridge/freezer interiors, outdoor areas (balcony, patio, garden), ironing, and laundry washing.
  • Some imperfections may remain depending on property condition — such as heavy calcium or mould build-up, or high-reach areas.
